Romain Caillard, Ph.D., is the cofounder and chief scientific officer of NutraJIT. He received an engineering degree in biotechnology from Polytech Clermont-Ferrand, France, and a doctorate in food science and technology from Université Laval, Québec, Canada. His work focuses on the study and use of food biopolymers (primarily proteins and polysaccharides), including their application for the conception of oral delivery systems. Dr. Caillard is the author of a dozen publications and several patents in this area. He is involved in various university research projects and is a reviewer for several scientific journals.
